AstroGyani is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of our Data Principals (Users). As a Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), we process personal data solely on the basis of free, specific, informed, and unambiguous consent.

Under the DPDP Act 2023, your Date of Birth, Exact Birth Time, and Birthplace constitute sensitive personal data. This data is strictly utilized by our native Vedic mathematical engine to calculate planetary longitudes and astrological coordinates. We never sell, rent, or trade your birth details or Kundli data to advertisers, data brokers, or third parties.

The application requests microphone and camera access strictly for real-time live consultations and video calls. These permissions are requested with explicit, transparent in-app prompts prior to session initiation. You may withdraw or modify these permissions at any time via your smartphone system settings.

Consultations may be recorded for quality assurance, safety, dispute resolution, and fraud prevention. Pre-call audio prompts and visual indicators inform both parties of recording. All audio/video recordings are stored with AES-256 encryption and deleted automatically after statutory retention periods.

Personal data is processed strictly for account administration, Vedic astrological calculations, live consultation routing, secure wallet transactions, and legal compliance.

During consultations, astrologers can only see necessary astrological parameters (Name, Gender, Birth Coordinates). Contact information (phone numbers, email addresses) and wallet balances are strictly masked and hidden from astrologers to protect privacy.

As a Data Principal, you have the statutory Right to Access information about your personal data, Right to Rectification of inaccurate records, Right to Erasure / Account Deletion, and Right to withdraw consent at any time.

AstroGyani does not knowingly collect personal data from minors below 18 years without verified parental or legal guardian consent.
